Copyright and Licensing

Modern English Education, published by the Modern English Education Society (MEESO), is an open access journal that adheres to the principles of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Under this license, all published articles can be freely copied, redistributed, remixed, transmitted, and adapted, provided that proper attribution to the original work and source is given, and that the adaptation is not for commercial purposes. Upon acceptance for publication, copyright of the article is transferred to MEESO. Therefore, authors are required to sign a copyright transfer form upon submission of their paper.

Plagiarism Policy

Modern English Education implements a strict plagiarism policy, which includes the use of plagiarism screening tools to ensure the originality of all submitted manuscripts. To comply with this policy, authors are required to submit similarity check reports twice: once during the initial submission for review and again after making final revisions to the manuscript.

Conflict of Interest

To ensure compliance with our conflict of interest policy, authors submitting papers to Modern English Education are required to sign a conflict of interest form. This form requires authors to disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research or the interpretation of their findings. The purpose of this requirement is to promote transparency and maintain the integrity of the research process.
